📋 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thigh, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable or sesame oil

For the sauce:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar (optional)

🍳 Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, water, and brown sugar. Set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add chicken slices and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Step 3: Stir-Fry Vegetables

Add remaining oil to the pan.
Add garlic and onion, stir-fry for 1 minute.
Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.

Step 4: Combine and Cook

Return chicken to the pan.
Pour in the prepared sauce and stir to coat all ingredients.
Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.

Step 5: Serve

Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
