📋 Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken (about 4 lbs)
  • 2 lemons (1 sliced, 1 juiced)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

🍳 Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 2: Prepare the Chicken

Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
Season generously with salt and pepper inside and out.

Step 3: Make Herb Mixture

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.

Step 4: Season the Chicken

Rub the herb mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin for extra flavor.
Place lemon slices inside the cavity.
